Almond Price in Pakistan 2026: Complete Buying Guide
Updated: 7 November 2026 | By BaBaShop.pk Team
The almond price in Pakistan is not one number. On 7 November 2026, verified online prices for 1kg of almonds ranged from Rs 3,999 to Rs 9,398, depending on the type, the pack size and where you buy. That is a gap of more than double — and it is exactly why a quick bazaar quote can mislead you.
If you only need the short answer, it is in the box below. If you want to know why American almonds cost far less than Irani almonds, what a fair per-100g price looks like, and how to spot a too-good-to-be-true listing, read on. Every price in this guide was seen on a live page on 7 November 2026, and the source is named next to it.

⚡ Direct answer — almond price in Pakistan
- PRICE: Rs 3,999 per kg is the lowest verified 1kg listing we saw — a Daraz marketplace seller’s raw almonds. Treat marketplace prices with care: the seller is unverified and quality was not tested.
- Rs 5,596–Rs 5,598 per kg is the supermarket rate for American almonds — Fresh Basket American Big at Naheed, in 250g and 500g packs.
- Rs 7,000 per kg is Naheed’s own-brand American badam rate, identical in 100g, 250g and 500g packs.
- Rs 9,196–Rs 9,398 per kg is the rate for Irani almonds at Naheed — the most expensive verified type in our check.
- Rs 540–Rs 940 per 100g is the verified per-100g range at Naheed. If a shop quotes far below Rs 500 per 100g for shelled almonds, ask what is actually in the pack.
- 1. Honest note: BaBa Shop does NOT sell almonds. We sell seeds — chia, flax and sunflower — and this guide still tells you where to buy almonds and what to pay.

🏆 Quick verdict: which almonds should you buy?
Buy the bigger pack of a named type from a supermarket or a seller you can hold to account. The 100g and 250g packs look cheap, but they cost the same — or more — per 100g as the 500g pack in almost every row of our table.
Buy Fresh Basket American Big 500g if…
Budget is your main concern. At Rs 2,799 for 500g, it works out at about Rs 560 per 100g — the lowest verified supermarket rate in our check. It is a plain, raw almond, which is what most families need for daily eating, soaking and grinding.
Buy Naheed American badam if…
You want a supermarket own-brand with a steady rate. It is Rs 700 per 100g in every pack size, so a small 100g pack costs you nothing extra per gram. That makes it a good choice if you only need a little at a time.
Buy Irani almonds if…
You specifically want the larger, softer Irani kernel and you accept the premium: about Rs 920–Rs 940 per 100g. For most daily use, the American almond gives you the same nutrition for about 40% less money.
Skip the cheapest Daraz listings if…
The price is far below the supermarket range and the seller has few reviews. A 1kg listing at Rs 3,999 is not impossible, but a listing at a few hundred rupees for “1kg” is not credible — we excluded such listings from this guide because the pack size or the product could not be verified.
One honest caveat: we have NOT tested these almonds ourselves. We do not sell almonds, we have no lab results for these brands, and we have not tasted them. Our checks are price checks on live pages, not quality tests.
💰 Price comparison: 13 packs + per-100g cost
Sticker price lies. A Rs 700 pack can be cheaper per gram than a Rs 1,399 pack. The per-100g column is the only fair comparison, and it is worked out the same way every time: price ÷ pack size × 100.
| Brand / product | Pack | Price | Per kg | Per 100g | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Naheed American Badam | 500g | Rs 3,500 | Rs 7,000 | Rs 700 | Naheed.pk |
| Naheed American Badam | 250g | Rs 1,750 | Rs 7,000 | Rs 700 | Naheed.pk |
| Naheed American Badam | 100g | Rs 700 | Rs 7,000 | Rs 700 | Naheed.pk |
| Fresh Basket Almonds American Big | 500g | Rs 2,799 | Rs 5,598 | Rs 560 | Naheed.pk |
| Fresh Basket Almonds American Big | 250g | Rs 1,399 | Rs 5,596 | Rs 560 | Naheed.pk |
| Fresh Basket Almonds Irani | 500g | Rs 4,699 | Rs 9,398 | Rs 940 | Naheed.pk |

| Fresh Basket Almonds Salted | 250g | Rs 1,350 | Rs 5,400 | Rs 540 | Naheed.pk |

| Daraz seller — 1kg Premium Raw Almonds | 1kg | Rs 3,999 | Rs 3,999 | Rs 400 | Daraz.pk |

Two patterns jump out. First, the type matters more than the brand: Irani almonds cost about 68% more per 100g than American Big at the same shop. Second, flavoured almonds are not a bargain: salted almonds are the cheapest per 100g at Naheed, but they add salt you may not want, and caramel-coated almonds cost more per 100g than plain American almonds while adding sugar.

🧮 What Rs 1,000 actually buys you
To make the comparison concrete, here is how much almond Rs 1,000 gets you at each verified rate — and what a daily portion costs.
- At Rs 560 per 100g (Fresh Basket American Big): 179g — about 6 days at 30g a day — Rs 168 a day.
- At Rs 700 per 100g (Naheed American): 143g — about 5 days — Rs 210 a day.
- At Rs 940 per 100g (Fresh Basket Irani): 106g — about 3–4 days — Rs 282 a day.
- At Rs 400 per 100g (Daraz raw 1kg): 250g — about 8 days — Rs 120 a day, if the seller’s quality matches the claim.
A month of daily 30g portions is 900g. At supermarket rates that costs Rs 5,040–Rs 6,300 for American almonds, and Rs 8,460 for Irani. That is the real monthly cost to budget for — not the price of one small pack.
Buying 1kg at once only saves money if the per-100g rate is actually lower. In our Naheed check, the 500g and 250g American Big packs had the same per-100g rate, so there was no bulk saving at all. Always divide before you buy.
❓ American vs desi vs Irani almonds: the confusion cleared
Three names cause most of the confusion in Pakistani shops. They are all almonds, but they are not the same product.
American / California almonds
The common, flat, oval almond sold shelled in supermarkets. Most of the world’s almonds are grown in California, USA. In Pakistan they are sold as “American badam” or “California badam”. They are usually the cheapest shelled almond, they keep well, and they are the ones in our table at Rs 560–Rs 700 per 100g.
Desi almonds
“Desi badam” usually means almonds grown in Pakistan or the wider region, often smaller, sometimes sold in shell, and often described as sweeter or more oily. Desi almonds are harder to find as a named, graded product online — we could not verify a live desi almond price from a named seller on 7 November 2026, so we have not invented one. In bazaars, ask whether the price is for in-shell or shelled, because the shell is a large share of the weight.
Irani almonds
Almonds from Iran, usually larger, softer and lighter in colour than American almonds. They cost more in Pakistan — Rs 920–Rs 940 per 100g at Naheed — because of import cost and the larger kernel. They are not more nutritious in any way we could verify; the premium is for size, texture and taste.
Blanched, roasted and salted — what changes?
Blanched almonds have the brown skin removed. Roasted almonds are cooked, often in oil, and salted almonds have salt added. Roasting and salting change the taste and the sodium, not the almond itself. Caramel-coated almonds add sugar. For daily eating, plain raw almonds are the simplest choice, and they are usually the cheapest per 100g too.
Almonds vs almond powder and almond oil
Almond powder (badam powder) and almond oil are different products with different prices — do not compare them with whole almonds per kg. A small bottle of almond oil can cost more than a kilo of almonds, because it takes many kilos of almonds to press a little oil.

🔬 Nutrition and what the research shows
Per 100g, raw almonds contain about 579 calories, 21g of protein, 50g of fat, 12g of fibre and 22g of carbohydrate, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) FoodData Central entry for raw almonds. They are also a rich source of vitamin E (about 26mg per 100g), magnesium (about 270mg) and calcium (about 269mg).
A normal portion is about 30g — roughly a small handful, or 23 almonds — which gives about 174 calories, 6g of protein and 3.6g of fibre. That portion size matters: almonds are energy-dense, so the difference between a handful and a bowl is several hundred calories.
Blood fats (cholesterol)
A randomised trial by Jenkins and colleagues, published in Circulation in 2002, tested a diet that included almonds as part of a “dietary portfolio” and found it lowered LDL (“bad”) cholesterol. The effect came from the whole diet, not from almonds alone, and the trial was short — so it supports almonds as part of a healthy diet, not as a medicine.
Weight
A trial by Wien and colleagues, published in the International Journal of Obesity in 2003, compared an almond-enriched low-calorie diet with a complex-carbohydrate-enriched low-calorie diet. The almond group lost slightly more weight. Again, the key was the low-calorie diet as a whole; almonds did not burn fat on their own.
What almonds have not been shown to do: cure memory loss, grow hair, or replace medicine. Traditional claims about soaked almonds and memory are widely repeated in Pakistan, but they are not proven by clinical trials. Soaked almonds are easier to chew and digest for some people, and that is a fair reason to soak them — it is not a proven brain treatment.
Expert view
Expert review pending. We did not find a verified, published quote from a named Pakistani nutritionist or dietitian about almond prices or almond nutrition that we could check against its original source, so we have not invented one. This section will be updated when a verifiable expert quote is confirmed. In the meantime, the study citations above are the evidence we are relying on, and they are linked in the sources at the end of this guide.
⚠️ Safety warnings, allergies and who should avoid almonds
Almonds are a tree nut, and tree nut allergy can be serious. If you have ever had swelling of the lips or tongue, trouble breathing, or hives after eating nuts, do not eat almonds — and talk to a doctor before trying them. Keep almonds away from young children who could choke on whole nuts; for children under five, use almond powder or almond butter instead of whole almonds.
- Allergies: almond allergy is a tree nut allergy. People allergic to other tree nuts, such as walnuts or cashews, should be careful and seek medical advice first.
- Stomach upset: eating a large amount at once can cause bloating and stomach discomfort, because almonds are high in fibre and fat. Start with a small handful.
- Salted almonds and blood pressure: salted almonds add sodium. If you watch your salt intake, buy plain almonds.
- Bitter almonds: bitter almonds contain a compound that can release cyanide and are not the same as the sweet almonds sold for eating. Do not eat bitter almonds as food.
- Storage: keep almonds in an airtight jar in a cool, dark place. In summer heat they can go rancid — a stale, paint-like smell means they should be thrown away.
🧭 Who should buy — and who should skip
Buy if…
You want a portable, filling snack with protein, fibre and vitamin E; you eat a small daily portion; and you buy plain, raw almonds at a verified per-100g rate. Almonds also work well ground into porridge, smoothies and baking.
Skip if…
You have a tree nut allergy; you are buying for a small child who could choke; or the only listing in your budget is far below the verified range from a seller with no reviews. In that case, wait, or buy a smaller pack from a supermarket instead.
🔍 How to spot good almonds before you pay
- Look: kernels should be plump, evenly coloured and free of dark spots or mould. Shriveled, broken or dusty almonds are old stock.
- Smell: fresh almonds smell mild and nutty. A sharp, paint-like smell means rancid oil — do not buy them.
- Taste one: in a bazaar, ask to taste. A fresh almond is crisp and sweet; a bitter or soapy taste is a warning sign.
- Check the pack: read the type (American, Irani or desi), the weight and the packing date. A “1kg” price with no weight on the pack is not a price you can compare.
- Calculate per 100g: divide the price by the pack weight in grams and multiply by 100. Our table does this for you — use the same maths in the shop.
📋 How we collected these prices
We searched Naheed.pk and Daraz.pk on 7 November 2026 for almonds, badaam and American almonds, and recorded the pack size and the price exactly as listed. We calculated per-kg and per-100g rates from those two numbers. We did not use prices from blogs, social media posts or price-aggregator sites, because those are often out of date.
We excluded listings where the pack size could not be confirmed, and listings priced at a few hundred rupees for a claimed 1kg, because they could not be verified as genuine 1kg packs. We also tried Carrefour Pakistan and Imtiaz online on the same day; Carrefour’s site returned a service error and Imtiaz’s search page returned a 404, so no prices from those stores are included. National and Shan do not sell whole raw almonds as a listed product in the searches we ran, so no price for them is listed — we would rather leave a brand out than guess its price.
Prices are online list prices before delivery charges. A bazaar price may be lower or higher, and an 11.11 or sale price may change the next day. Always check the live price before ordering.
🏙️ City-wise prices: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Sargodha
We have no verified city-specific bazaar prices for almonds in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or Sargodha for 7 November 2026. Naheed and Daraz are online stores with one national list price, so the rates in our table apply online in all four cities, apart from delivery charges, which vary by city.
That is an honest gap, not a guess. In general, dry-fruit bazaars — Empress Market in Karachi, Akbari Mandi in Lahore, and the dry-fruit shops of Islamabad and Sargodha — usually track the online range, with in-shell almonds cheaper per kg and graded shelled almonds dearer. But we did not verify a stall price in any city, so we will not publish one as fact. If you buy in a bazaar, use the per-100g rates in this guide as your benchmark: if a stall quotes far above Rs 940 per 100g for American almonds, you are paying too much.

❓ FAQs
What is the almond price in Pakistan per kg?
On 7 November 2026, verified online prices for 1kg of almonds ranged from Rs 3,999 (a Daraz marketplace seller) to Rs 9,398 (Fresh Basket Irani almonds at Naheed). The supermarket rate for American almonds was Rs 5,596–Rs 7,000 per kg.
What is the price of almonds per 100g in Pakistan?
The verified per-100g range at Naheed on 7 November 2026 was Rs 540–Rs 940: salted almonds at Rs 540, American Big at Rs 560, Naheed American at Rs 700, and Irani at Rs 920–Rs 940 per 100g.
Which almonds are cheapest in Pakistan — American or Irani?
American almonds are cheaper. At Naheed, American Big cost about Rs 560 per 100g, while Irani almonds cost Rs 920–Rs 940 per 100g — about 68% more. The premium is for the larger, softer Irani kernel, not for proven extra nutrition.
How many almonds should I eat per day?
A common portion is about 30g, roughly 23 almonds, which gives about 174 calories. Almonds are energy-dense, so a small handful a day is enough for most people. If you have a medical condition, ask your doctor about a portion that suits you.
Are desi almonds better than American almonds?
Desi almonds are often described as sweeter and more oily, but we could not verify a live desi almond price or a study comparing desi and American almonds on nutrition. Buy the type you like, and compare by the per-100g price rather than by claims on the pack.
Why are some almonds on Daraz so cheap?
Marketplace sellers set their own prices, and some listings use a low headline price for a small pack, or for a lower grade. We excluded listings where the pack size could not be verified. Always check the pack weight, the seller’s reviews and the return policy before ordering.
Does BaBa Shop sell almonds?
No. BaBa Shop does not sell almonds or Ajwa dates. We sell chia seeds, flax seeds and sunflower seeds. This guide is a price guide, not a product page, and the shop link in it goes to our seeds range.
✅ Conclusion: almond price in Pakistan
The almond price in Pakistan in November 2026 is Rs 5,596–Rs 7,000 per kg for American almonds at a supermarket, and Rs 9,196–Rs 9,398 per kg for Irani almonds. The cheapest verified 1kg listing we saw was Rs 3,999 from a Daraz marketplace seller — a price worth checking twice before you trust it.
For most families, the sensible buy is plain American almonds in a 500g pack, at about Rs 560 per 100g. That gives you a month of daily 30g portions for about Rs 5,040, with no salt, no sugar and no premium for a larger kernel.
Remember the three rules from this guide: divide by the pack weight before you compare, buy from a seller you can hold to account, and check the live price before you order — because prices change. And if a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Key takeaways: American almonds cost Rs 560–Rs 700 per 100g at Naheed; Irani almonds cost Rs 920–Rs 940 per 100g; a daily 30g portion costs Rs 168–Rs 282; and BaBa Shop does not sell almonds — our shop sells seeds.
